Technician
Duties and Responsibilities :Maintains and improves patients’
oral health by fabricating fixed and removable prostheses according to dentist
prescriptions.
The duties are:

Replaces partial or total loss of natural teeth by
constructing partial or full dentures(metal or non-metal).
·
Restores natural teeth by fabricating crowns and
bridges.
·
Corrects dental irregularities by manufacturing fixed
or removable appliances.
There are different duties and responsibilities.
Salary:$25-$50,000 range.
Education: Dental laboratory technicians may receive their
education and training through a two-year program at a community college, vocational
school, university or dental school. Graduates of these programs receive either
an associate degree or a certificate. In most caes, an interested individual needs
a high school diploma.
Reflection: I think the dental lab career seems to be a nice
one and looks very interesting to do for the future I’d just like to know more
about this career.
