Education: Yoga therapists are well-trained in many areas of health therapy, healing and overall wellness. School of yoga train from many different perspectives. Some many include separate units on Ayurveda, although this not required to become a yoga therapist and does not impact the knowledge necessary to become a competent yoga therapist. Competent yoga therapists must build on a foundation in anatomy, basic physiology, and modern healthcare terminology.
