Duties and Responsibilities:Opticians are responsible for using precision equipment to measure various eye features,including corneal thickness and pupil distance.Patient information is then provided to lab technicians to create properly fitted lens. Opticians can also make suggestions in frame shapes,styles,and color,lenses and special lens coating,such as anti-glare materials. Some opticians are also responsible for grinding and tinting lenses,repairing glasses and fixing contacts.

Education:While there is no specific educational requirements for n optician, an associate's or bachelor's degree in opticianry may offer a competitive advantage. Opticianry courses educate students in anatomy and physiology of the human eye,optical fundamentals and refraction. Through clinical training,students also have opportunities to learn about polishing,hand beveling, heat treatment, tinting and fitting glasses.

Reflection: I would not like to be one because i wouldnt handle fixing glasses and other sort of stuff i dont find this career that will be right for me.

Medical Surveillance Technician

Duties and Responsibilities: Provide information based on the patients diagnosis and prescribe treatment by preforming laboratory test in toxicology,chemistry, and hematology etc.  

Salary:$58,000

Education: Taking courses in electronics at community college or technical schools can beneficial to aspiring  surveillance technicians. High school diploma may be sufficient for some jobs many employers prefer to hire candidates who have taken specialized college courses. Programs in electronics or electrical engineering technology at the 2-year level will provide surveillance technicians with background circuit design and implementation, electronics installation, measurements and electrical systems.

Reflection: I would like to know more about this career pathway too know if i would be one ad see what they go through and if its difficult. 

Military Medical Opportunities

Flight Surgeon

Duties and Responsibilities: U.S. Air Force flight surgeons provide emergency medical care to pilots and their crew. Flight surgeons make sure soldiers are healthy before missions and promote healthy diets and lifestyles to prevent the spread of illnesses. Surgeons fly along on most missions, including special operations.

Salary: Second lieutenants earn $33,941 in their first two years. First lieutenants and captains make $39,103-$45,256 a year respectively.  Major generals in the first two years ear $116,197

Education: Air Force flight surgeon must possess a doctor of medicine or a doctor of osteopathic medicine degree and complete a postgraduate surgical residency. Flight surgeons can complete accredited programs through the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education, the American Osteopathic Association, or through similar healthcare organizations. Surgeons must also attend a five-week military and healthcare training program after they join the Air Force.

Reflection: This is not a career for me because i se do myself helping people but not specifically as a flight surgeon. 

Medical Illustrator

Duties and Responsibilities A medical illustrator is a professional artist with specialized training and advanced education in medicine, science, art, design, visual technology, media techniques, and in theories related to communication and learning; however, medical illustrators are used to show people about disseminate medical, biological or related info.

Salary: $62,000 and can be range to 100,000

Education: Most medical illustrator have Master’s degree from an accredited graduate program from one of four medical schools. Course works include: human gross anatomy, physiology, pathology, histology, neuroanatomy, embryology, and surgery.

 Reflection: I would like to know more about this job and see if it will suit me well ; however being and illustrator might seem pleasant to do in the future.

Professional Photographer

Reflection: I think  I would of course like to be one mostly because it is a nice  career ,;however, im still trying to know more about it and see some pros and cons but yes this will be close to my future job.

             I would like too know more about this career to decide if I actually  pick yes or no, just with the little information I have I could have found more but its better to know or ask someone who is one and have there point of view on this career

Education: According to the U.S Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS),the educational requirements for home health aides vary depends on the employer. Reflection: This job seems pretty to have mostly because your  being help to people who really needs help at home and dont have family they i would like to know about this job so yes i would be one

Community health workers collect data and discuss health concerns with members of specific populations or communities get a manual how to work on ligh theraphy and so on

Reflection: Yes id like to be a photographer because I fell in love with taking pictures and its my dream to become one.

Reflection: I think I’d like too be one because the job seems very easy and your helping people not like doing surgery but having the paperwork and personal information safe so no other patient could get I’d like to learn more.

Reflection: I would like to be a vet because i adore animals and want them to safe and healthy a lot of people wont like this career but i if its worth saving animals than i would want be a vet.

Reflection: I would not like this job because is not that it seems bad its just that they operate and me as a person afraid of needles what makes think i could someone else with my hands while opening them up trying to help them.

Reflection: What i think about Eastern Medicine Doctor is that is a nice career for me or anyone to have but i don't think its this the right job for me because it mostly in chinese medicine which isnt bad but i dont think ill be good

Education: Modeling is a career that doesn't require any specific degree or credential. With that said, obtaining a relevant degree could enhance your prospects of becoming a fashion designer. An associate's degree in fashion design or merchandising usually takes two years to earn, and a bachelor's degree would typically take four years to complete.

Reflection: Yes, I'd like to be one because I'm use to modeling and i do model a clothing brand and model skaters clothes and one of the educational requirement is photography and im pretty good at it too. I just hope that i could do both sooner! As my career 

              

Ear,Nose,and Throat (ENT) Doctor

Duties and Responsibilities: Ears, Nose,and Throat doctors also known as otolaryngologists or ENT specialists, are medical doctors responsible for surgical or medical treatments of the ears,nose,and throat, as well as the related head and neck areas.

Salary;$205,000 per year


Education:Ear, nose,and throat specialists must complete five years of training of surgical residency. This comprises a one-year course of general surgery and a four-year course of otolaryngologists. More start their medical education with a bachelor of science degree,but those with a bachelor of arts degree are also accepted to the same medical programs.

Reflection: I think the career is a seems suitable and i feel like i think this will be a good job for the future i just need too look more into it.

Registered Dietitian

Duties and Responsibilities: A registered dietitian is a trained professional who as met the strict educational and experiential standards set forth by the Commision of Dietetic Registration(CDR). Registered Dietitian may work in variety of settings.

Dermatologist

Duties and Responsibilities:Dermatologist are medical doctors who deal with skin and skin aliments.Dermatologist see variety of patients, from young children to the elderly. They conduct skin evolutions to determine how best to treat and prevent conditions such as dandruff,acne,and skin caner.

Reflection: I think that this a really good job but there is some cons about this career which not thats not good but i'd like to know more abut the good benefits it does and the bad benefits

There are different duties and responsibilities.

Salary:$25-$50,000 range.

Education: Dental laboratory technicians may receive their education and training through a two-year program at a community college, vocational school, university or dental school. Graduates of these programs receive either an associate degree or a certificate. In most caes, an interested individual needs a high school diploma.

Reflection: I think the dental lab career seems to be a nice one and looks very interesting to do for the future I’d just like to know more about this career.
